Depression

You should be aware that depression is a common feeling. We have all had experiences and events in our lives that have made us feel sad, down, or upset. A person can have all these emotions without being “clinically” depressed.

Counselling is useful for an individual, where you are able to have general discussions about life matters, decisions you are facing and obstacles in your life that you are experiencing. By attending counselling this will help you with any negative or Depressive thoughts: it will help you lift your mood.

Counselling will further help you with your sleep difficulties, it will help you make changes so you can feel better about yourself and your life.

However, depression can become an illness when a person’s mood state is intense, long-lasting and one that impacts day-to-day life. In fact, in Australia, around one in five people will experience clinical depression in their lifetime.

While it may be daunting at first to think you may be experiencing depression, Romina will provide a safe, supportive environment to help you work through your difficulties.
